Compositions are the main composition with a title and descriptions.

Versions are different versions of a composition – these may for different instruments (eg recorders or flutes), or different numbers of instruments (eg an orchestral version, and one for six instruments). versions will usually have a title only but there is an optional description, which probably won’t generally be used.
