Since the word "jazz" was coined it has been claimed by many styles of music. The idea behind this series is that I will visit these styles and so create an "encyclopedia" As with a real encyclopaedia the inclusion of an entry does not necessarily reflect the author's opinion. Forgive me for having included synthesised drums in the hip hop movement. As I was multi-tracking anyway I couldn’t resist. But please take this as an encouragement to do the same!
